Bookings & How It Works
How do I book a luggage storage, delivery, or Land & Leave service?
Fill in the booking form on our website — choose your service, add your details, and submit. You can also WhatsApp us at 0716 017 037 and a team member will assist you.
How quickly will I hear back after booking?
Within minutes during business hours. Our team sends a WhatsApp confirmation as soon as your booking is received and processed.
Can I book same-day?
Yes, same-day bookings are accepted for luggage storage and delivery within Nairobi, subject to availability. For delivery outside Nairobi, we recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance.
Can I modify or cancel my booking?
Yes. WhatsApp us at 0716 017 037 with your booking reference and we will assist with modifications or cancellations. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the service may incur a small fee.
Safety & Security
Is my luggage insured?
Yes. All items stored or in transit with StoremyLuggage are fully covered. We are accountable for the safety, security, and condition of every bag in our care.
What security measures are at your stations?
All stations are equipped with 24/7 CCTV monitoring, secure locked storage areas, and are staffed by trained StoremyLuggage personnel during operating hours.
What happens if something is damaged or lost?
Contact us immediately via WhatsApp or email at booking@storemyluggage.co.ke. We take full responsibility and will work to resolve the situation promptly.
Who can collect my bags?
Only the person named in the booking, presenting a valid photo ID and the booking reference. We do not release bags to third parties without prior written authorisation from the booking holder.
Pricing & Payment
How much does luggage storage cost?
Storage starts from KES 300 per small bag per day. Regular bags (carry-on suitcases) are KES 500/day. Large bags are KES 700/day. Oversized items are KES 1,000/day.
How do I pay?
Payment is collected at the station or via M-Pesa before delivery. Bank transfer is available for corporate bookings. Our team will confirm payment details in the WhatsApp confirmation.
Are there hidden fees?
No. The price quoted in your booking summary is what you pay. Unusual or excessively heavy items may attract a supplementary charge, which is always confirmed before collection.
Do you offer weekly or monthly storage rates?
Yes. For storage longer than 7 days, we offer reduced weekly and monthly rates. Contact us at booking@storemyluggage.co.ke or WhatsApp for a custom quote.
Locations & Coverage
Which cities do you operate in?
We have stations in Nairobi (JKIA, Westlands, Upper Hill, Kilimani, CBD), Mombasa (CBD and Nyali), and Kisumu (CBD). We also offer delivery across Kenya.
Do you deliver to safari lodges?
Yes. We deliver to safari lodges and camps across Kenya. Inter-lodge transfers and bush camp deliveries are available — timelines depend on location.
Is the JKIA station really open 24 hours?
Yes. Our JKIA Airport Station inside Terminal 1A is open 24 hours, 365 days a year.
Can you collect from or deliver to my Airbnb?
Absolutely. Our delivery and Land & Leave services pick up and drop off at any address — hotels, Airbnbs, offices, event venues, or private residences.
Items We Accept
What bag sizes do you accept?
We accept all standard travel bag sizes: handbags and tote bags (small), carry-on suitcases and backpacks (regular), full check-in suitcases (large), and oversized items such as bicycles, surfboards, and sports equipment.
Can I store fragile items?
Yes. Please note fragile contents when booking and our team will handle your bag with extra care. We recommend you pack fragile items with adequate padding.
What items are NOT accepted?
We do not accept hazardous materials, explosives, flammable liquids, illegal substances or items, perishable food, live animals, or items requiring refrigeration.
Can I store a bicycle or surfboard?
Yes. Oversized items including bicycles, surfboards, golf bags, and large sports equipment are welcome. These are classified as oversized and priced at KES 1,000/day or KES 1,500 per delivery trip.
